SlideShow: Meet Fairmont’s Dog Ambassadors

September 2011

Gracie, Fairmont Mount Tremblant

A Golden Labrador, Gracie joined the team at the Fairmont Tremblant this past summer and she’s committed to her goal of becoming the hotel’s new social butterfly. Gracie was trained by the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind. Due to her amazing kindness and incredible social skills and in partnership with the Canadian Guide Dogs for the Blind Association, Gracie began her working life at Fairmont Tremblant where she will be able to smooze constantly.

Fun Facts About Gracie

  • Jean Francois Lincourt, the hotel’s director of operations and Gracie’s master, says Gracie’s gentle nature has gained her friends from around the world. She gets e-mails, gifts and treats from visitors who can, by appointment, take the former guide dog for walks.
  • Gracie enjoys her walks through the alpine village of Mount Tremblant, and although most of her human friends love to ski, Gracie has resisted the urge to take up the sport, preferring to wait for them by the warm fire in the hotel’s lobby.
