2. Anywhere Along the Coast of Georgia

The bonus with heading to coast in Georgia is that a visit can be combined with eating some scrumptious seafood. We were walking off our enormous crab dinner at the Sunbury Crab Company, located an hour north of Tybee, when we took this sunset shot along the marina.

3. Rural Georgia

Visit a farm in Georgia and maybe stay a spell, you can choose between the Tobacco Loft or the Roost for a totally authentic farm experience at Hunter Cattle Co. in Brooklet Georgia.

5. Historical Georgia

Georgia is home to an abundance of plantation homes and many of them are open as bed and breakfasts’ or inns. What we liked the most about these gorgeous old homes is that they are open to all. Twelve Oaks in Covington Georgia has a special place in our hearts because it is owned and operated by Nicole Greer who has lovely restored this gracious southern mansion.
